This is not a bad distance for us, maybe 10- 11 hours driving time.  Unfortunately it is the Saturday after Thanksgiving and Clyde will have to work.  It is not the best time to be on the roads traveling either or I might try to persuade my daughter to go with me.

This one is very doable for us as well.  Mom is on vacation the week of Thanksgiving and my office closes for Thanksgiving and the day after.  It would be about an 8 hour drive for us.  I think we're planning on going.

How did I miss this?  Thanks Debbie!!

It's even better - there are 2 shows - DOUBLE YOUR PLEASURE - DOUBLE YOUR FUN!!

For those of you who are coming, it looks like it's 45 minutes west of Harrisburg, PA (central PA).  Mark down OCT 1st - for ticket call in.

Will try to find a place to stay if we're doing the 2 shows.  It's just 5 days from Rose's birthday... she's going to love getting to see Jimmy at the Festival and then in McAlisterville, Pa. in November.

Although it is in late November, it will be a Christmas show. I can't wait to see you there!

Christmas Show - even better!!!  We'll definitely be there for both shows.

For those of you going to the festival... I just realized that Oct 1st - the call in date for the McAlisterville, PA show is the date that some of us will be travelling home from the festival ... bring you cell phone so you can call in ... now I finally have a good reason to use ON STAR in the car.

Riley,

The info is on the toursite - don't worry... I missed it too.  Debbie found it.

The ticket call in date is October 1st - the Phone is 717 734 3335 and there are 2 shows at 3PM and 7:30PM with Jimmy and Stella Parton.  Nina said they are Christmas shows.  The venue is the East Juniata High School in
Mc Alisterville, PA which is about 45 miles north of Harrisburg.  We're going to try to do both shows which will probably mean a stayover.  The call in date is the travel day after the festival.  Any chance you and Maggie would be coming to the festival?
